The Missing Blogger

By Eilene Lyon

One or two of you (three?) may have noticed my absence. It’s not my intention to disappear from the blogosphere, yet. I’ve been dedicated to working on my manuscript and other projects related to getting the book done and “out there.”

But I am ready for a little break from that. Time to do more writing and less editing. I have some research for articles to pursue. And I want to enjoy summer outdoor activities, too, beyond just walking the dog and watering the garden.

One thing I’ve done is set up an author page on Facebook. I will be using it to post book reviews (something I’ve been negligent about, because I don’t feel I have a talent for reviewing). I will also put updates about the book and a few other tidbits about writing. I hope you’ll visit and “Like”!

Keep your eyes peeled for new posts coming up soon!

      1. That’s an awesome goal. Your will feel so good when it’s completed. There is so much to learn in the book process. I’m learning about this too. I’m still in the writing stage.

  1. Well now that you mention it I was wondering where you’d wandered off to, but all is clear now. Is writing book reviews on FB an author thing? I’m part of the #DeleteFacebook gang, so I’ve no idea what goes on there.

    1. Well, I haven’t officially created an author website and many authors do have FB pages. I don’t think book reviews belong on my blog, so I’m posting them on Amazon and FB. I want to support my fellow authors in some way.

  3. I had noted it, but have been so busy myself, I figured it was the same for you…Summer is a busy time, plus the last 14 months have been difficult for all of us – needing a break from blogging is perfectly understandable.

      1. Oh, THANK YOU! Medium is an interesting word choice since somebody the other day suggested I share my reviews on Medium. But that sounds like more work than I want to take on.
