The Putterer and I each have a few household chores that the other never touches. I’ve taken over cleaning the disgusting shower drain once a month. Who knew that those horizontal, hidden-in-tile drains could get so nasty? There’s a design flaw there somewhere.
He is king of the coffeemaker, wielder of vinegar jugs. His monthly duty is to flush Mr. Coffee with acid to remove the scale buildup from our alkaline well water.
This division of duties helps balance the scales in our relationship.

We have a system too, But the lizard? He’s got it made. We have geckos in the Panama house. They eat bugs and I clean their poo. It’s a win win.

We use vinegar to clean our coffee machine. Anabel has the same machine as ours.

We do the same, but they crap out eventually anyway. Seems it’s taking about a half hour for the pot to brew. Good thing we start it on a timer!
